1-Day Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course This intensive one-day Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSKUS) course is designed to provide clinicians with a practical, high-yield foundation in diagnostic MSK ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures. The course emphasizes real-world scanning protocols, pattern recognition, and safe, reproducible needle guidance techniques. Participants will receive in-depth training on up to two major joints, selected for their high clinical relevance (e.g., shoulder, knee, hip, elbow, or ankle), including a comprehensive evaluation of the surrounding supportive structures: .Tendons and tendon sheaths .Ligaments and capsuloligamentous complexes .Bursae and recesses .Muscles and myotendinous junctions .Peripheral nerves and adjacent neurovascular structures Ultrasound Physics & Optimization Practical application of physics concepts, probe selection, frequency optimization, Doppler use, anisotropy management, and ergonomics specific to MSK imaging. Standardized Scanning Protocols Step-by-step, reproducible protocols for each joint to ensure complete and efficient examinations. Emphasis is placed on dynamic assessment, contralateral comparison, and common diagnostic pitfalls. Pathology Recognition Sonographic appearance of common and clinically relevant conditions, including tendinopathy, tears, bursitis, effusions, synovitis, calcifications, enthesopathy, and degenerative changes. Ultrasound-Guided Needle Techniques Hands-on training in both in-plane and out-of-plane needle guidance, including: Joint injections and aspirations Safe needle trajectories and avoidance of critical structures Image optimization for needle visualization The value of this concierge-style training is the personalized 1:1 experience Additional providers may join the training at a rate of $1000 each.
