Service Description

This specialized course is designed to give providers the knowledge and confidence to integrate ultrasound into facial aesthetics safely and effectively. Training covers ultrasound principles, knobology (how to operate your ultrasound system), image optimization, and recognition of artifacts. You will learn detailed facial anatomy under ultrasound, including muscles, fat compartments, fascia, vascular structures, and the appearance of fillers. Hands-on scanning will focus on high-risk areas such as the nasolabial fold, nose, chin, temporal region, lips, and tear troughs. In addition, providers will gain practical skills in guided needle techniques—an essential tool for dissolving unwanted filler, managing vascular adverse events, and improving the precision of aesthetic procedures. The concierge-style format ensures 1:1 guidance with a musculoskeletal and facial ultrasound specialist. You’ll be able to ask questions, refine your technique, and receive real-time feedback while scanning. We recommend having a model available during the training to make scanning more effective and realistic. To maximize learning, we also encourage scheduling a few patients in the morning and procedures in the afternoon. This allows you to directly apply your new skills in a clinical setting—building confidence, coordination, and safety as you perform procedures with both the probe and needle in hand. Additional providers may join the training at a rate of $1200 each. For sessions outside Florida, travel expenses prices may vary depending on flight costs.
