Service Description

2-Day Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course ( 16CME credits ) The 2-day MSK Ultrasound course offers an advanced, immersive educational experience designed to develop confidence, consistency, and clinical mastery in musculoskeletal ultrasound. This course builds beyond fundamentals and focuses on systematic, protocol-based scanning and interventional proficiency. Participants will receive comprehensive training on up to four major joints, each taught in a structured, repeatable manner. For every joint, the course covers: Osseous landmarks and sono-anatomy Tendons, ligaments, and stabilizing structures Muscles, fascial planes, and myotendinous junctions Bursae and joint recesses Peripheral nerves and regional neurovascular anatomy Advanced Image Acquisition & Interpretation Refinement of scanning techniques to improve diagnostic confidence, including dynamic maneuvers, Doppler assessment of inflammation and neovascularity, and recognition of subtle pathology. Protocol-Driven Examinations Standardized MSK scanning protocols aligned with best practices, enabling efficient, complete exams suitable for documentation, teaching, and longitudinal patient follow-up. Expanded Pathology Spectrum Identification and differentiation of: Partial- and full-thickness tendon tears Chronic vs acute tendinopathy Ligament injuries Degenerative and inflammatory joint disease Extensive hands-on training in ultrasound-guided procedures, including: Joint, bursal, and tendon sheath injections Precision needle placement techniques Optimization of needle visibility in challenging anatomy Emphasis on safety, accuracy, and procedural efficiency Additional providers may attend the training at a rate of $1000 each. For sessions outside Florida, travel expenses prices may vary depending on flight costs.
